Football Friendly Caswell v WGCADA
Caswell clinic 20- WGCDA 5
On 4th September 2013 Caswell hosted a friendly football match against WGCADA (West Glamorgan Council on Drug and Alcohol Abuse) the clash was well anticipated as we played in a tournament with them the previous year and lost out narrowly on goal difference in the standings.
The game started off at a fast pace with Caswell scoring several goals in the first ten minutes. This continued for the remainder of the first half with our attacking players dominating and going into the half time break we had built up a sizeable lead. The second half was just as fast and we took full advantage when the WGCADA boys started to tire. With some tactical substitutions and a rock solid defence the Caswell team ended up winning by a landslide. Full credit to the boys for the way they represented the clinic and the sportsmanlike manner with which they played the game. The WGCADA boys enjoyed the opportunity to play against us and cant wait for the rematch.
