Caswell Chat Lockdown Edition
Welcome everyone to the 2020 Spring Lockdown Edition of the Caswell Chat. It has without doubt been a strange start to the year and it’s hard to believe we are now in June. Bring on the sunshine! Despite the difficulties faced in this unprecedented time, everyone here at Caswell Clinic has continued to spread kindness, provide care to others and keep positivity flowing.
This edition focuses on kindness in Caswell Clinic and shows some examples of the many acts of kindness that have taken place throughout the clinic over the last few months. Patients and staff have been getting very creative and have shared some of their brilliant creations with us including poetry, wall art, marble art, window art, scratch art, balloon making, mural making, VE day decorations, tie-dyeing and hair dyeing. We have had the results of the Diversity Poster Competition which you can find on the following page, and you will see some of the winning pieces from the recent Creative Competition later on in the issue.
We have some special features with stories from staff members and some interesting patient interviews which you won’t want to miss!
You’ll also find some information about new groups which launched at the beginning of the year along with information about our regular groups and voluntary roles which are available across the clinic. We are always eager to hear new ideas and suggestions, so if you have any you’d like to share please get in touch with the OT department.
A very special thanks to our patient group for their patience and understanding during this time and to all of our staff who continue to do their utmost to keep us all safe, healthy and entertained.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy Summer!
