Recognition Review

On Friday 13th December we held our annual Recognition Event in the sports hall. The event was introduced by Thomas who did a great job welcoming patients, staff and family members to the event.

We kicked off the event with the award ceremony in which certificates were given to staff and patients to recognise their effort and hard work. Patients were also thanked for their commitment to voluntary roles this year, including working at the food bank, litter picking and allotment.  One patient from each clinical team was also recognised for putting considerable effort into their individual recovery this year. A big well done to everyone!

The Welsh group entertained us all with some traditional Welsh songs including Calon Lan, National Anthem and Bread of Heaven. Thank you to Will who accompanied the group on the guitar. Phil entertained us all with his rendition of Men of Harlech which was brilliant.

Everyone enjoyed a buffet and plenty of hot drinks (which we needed to keep warm as unfortunately it was a little chilly!) Finally, the group enjoyed a quiz and bingo organised by Karl.

Thanks to everyone who attended the event and helped out on the day. Keep up the hard work!
