Wilderness Walking

Caswell Clinic Wilderness WalkingThis summer the activity co-ordinators took a large group of both patients and staff up to the Elan Valley. It was a cloudy day but the rain held off. Some feet got wet when walkers went through little streams and some legs got tired when walking up and down the hilly terrain! Everyone completed the walk which was brilliant, a big well done!

“It was nice to have a day out and the weather was good.
I have also been on a group trip to walk up Pen-y-Fan mountain but this walk was much easier.
It was good because we got to walk along the bridge and hills.
I liked to walk around the little village where people used to live.”
(Pen-y-Fan is the highest mountain in South Wales so it is not surprising that it was a tough walk!)
