Tie-dye T-shirts

Some great and very messy fun was had in two Penarth art sessions when white T-shirts were transformed through tie-dying. This brilliant creative activity was held following the request of a patient.

Buckets were used to dip the fabric, and rubber bands were placed around the shirts to create colourful patterns. The shirts were then dunked to the sound of much laughter and produced some really fun designs, with patients each having their own colour combination preferences.

People were often seen afterwards proudly wearing their artistic creations.

Ian said, “It was the most fun I have had in twenty years!”
