Issue 33

Caswell Gardens               

This year we haven't had as many people in the group as usual but despite this we have still managed to keep the garden growing. We have already had a really good crop of strawberries and lettuce. At the moment we are growing tomatoes, Chillies, peppers, broccoli , pumpkins, leeks and courgettes. The borders are coming on with new plants but we have still a lot of weeding to do.

It looks like it's going to be a good year for the apples and pears which is good as last year we hardly had anything at all. Thanks to everybody who has helped with work in the garden and also those who have donated plants and seeds.
