Al's Festive Recipe
Mincemeat Crumble Tray Bake
Ingredients
250g self raising flour
225g butter
50g light muscavado sugar
2 tsp mixed spice
400g jar mincemeat
Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan) 180°C (conventional) gas 4.
Grease and line base of a rectangular tin 28 x 18 x 3xcm with baking parchment.
Place flour and butter in food processor and blitz until mixture resemble breadcrumbs.
Place mixture in a bowl and stir in sugar and mixed spice.
Tip half the mixture into the tin, press down to form a base and then spread mincemeat over the top.
Cover the mincemeat by sprinkling with remaining rumble mix.
Bake for 35 minutes.
